Pamela Wood Browne

Pamela is the Program Director for SC Codes. Additional hats she wears include: Women Who Code Greenville Director and Code for Greenville Co-Organizer. She provides WordPress training as a consultant in her spare time.

Dan Robert

Dan is a front-end developer at Automattic, Inc. (the company behind WordPress.comJetpackWooCommerceGravatar, and a bunch of other cool products that you may have seen around the web).

Erick Arbe

Erick Arbe is a WordPress developer that runs a web design agency (AO Agency) and an online mattress retailer (HIBR). He has been building on the WordPress platform for almost 10 years now. An avid CrossFitter, you can either find him working at the office or working out at Swamp Rabbit Crossfit.

Katherine Wakefield

Katherine started with computers at an early age. She is a freelance web developer and teaches women coding skills in her group in Spartanburg – WebCodeChicks. She teaches older adults computer skills and providing IT support. When she is not at the computer, she is out in her fishing kayak trying to catch a bass.

Clifton Canady

Clifton works at Drum Creative. He is a problem solver and likes working with the team to develop the best web designs possible. When he is not developing websites he enjoys the outdoors and is a huge college football fan with Clemson being his favorite team.

Joel Newcomer

Joel works at Drum Creative. He knows WordPress and uses his experience and knowledge to develop clean and effective code for each website that he develops.  Joel is the only person we know who was born in a ’76 Chevy Impala because he decided to come a little sooner than expected. As a developer he still seems to be ahead of his time.

Chase Livingston

Chase is a Happiness Engineer at Automattic working on the Jetpack plugin.

Chad Warner

Chad runs OptimWise, a WordPress design, development, and maintenance agency. He helps businesses maintain their WordPress sites so they run securely and smoothly. Clients love that he is professional, organized, and responsive. He has years of IT experience and still loves technology. He loves to geek-out over Tolkien and Star Wars and decorate his office with LEGOs. He lives in Greer, South Carolina with his wife and their two daughters. He’s been working with WordPress since 2009.

Jim Ferguson

Jim is the owner of Sandlapper Creative, a WordPress-based web design & development company in Greenville. When he isn’t wrangling code, you can find him spending time with his family, working with the LifePoint Church communications team, out in the garden growing pumpkins, or cheering on the Clemson Tigers.

Doug Cone

Doug is a senior developer at Crowd Favorite. He’s been working with WordPress since 2008 and is a plugin author and core contributor to WordPress. When he’s not building the web, he helps run the Synergy Mill maker’s space as the co-founder.
